Booking Campus Rooms

For campus space, such as classrooms, computer labs, lecture theatres, and the Mezzanine, please submit a request through the room booking form at least five business days in advance.

Please read the FAQs and the Space Policies posted online before submitting a request.

As indicated in the Room Rental Rates section of the Space Policies, charges may apply to internal events. Room rental rates are posted online.

There are eight meeting rooms available for staff and faculty members, and they can be booked through SFU Exchange Calendar. Please click on this link for instructions: The rooms are located in various areas on campus, and room capacities range from 10-24. SUR 2735, 2746, 3040, 5200 and 5380 are now self-serve video conferencing rooms. SUR 5020 has a PC with audio speakers. If you are planning to use your own laptop there, please contact the IT Services help desk ( or 778-782-7490), and ask for computer speakers. Please note that the meeting rooms are for internal meetings only. For other bookings (e.g. exam marking, workshops, research, and other course-related activities), please submit a request through the room booking form.
